Ali graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in biology and went on to complete a degree in veterinary medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph where she received an award for distinction in Dentistry.
Ali was the president of the New Brunswick Veterinary Medical Association in 2010-2011. She was also a member of the Canadian Veterinary Reserve and has volunteered her veterinary services in Africa, and in New Brunswick with Ca-r-ma (Cat Rescue Maritimes). Ali was selected to attend the Emerging Leaders Program at the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association conference in Calgary.
Dr. Reid’s special interests and training include orthopedic surgery (cruciate surgery, patella luxation repair and fracture repair), acupuncture, laparoscopic surgery, and behavior in dogs and cats.
